FDOA (FIVESTAR design office and associates) is a Fukuoka-based design practice founded in 2018 by Yoshiaki Yamaguchi. We work across interior, product, graphic, and architectural scales — from a single chair to a complete restaurant, from a logotype to a building facade.

Our process begins with listening. Every project carries its own constraints, desires, and stories. We translate these into spaces and objects that feel both considered and effortless — where the making disappears and only the experience remains.
